hildren ages two and up will have fun accompanying Maisy around the barnyard as she helps a hen find her missing chicks. You'll have to lift the flaps to find out where the ten chicks are hiding.

here are doors to open, gates to check behind and places to check out in the garden and even in the cab of a big red tractor. And when the search is finished, ten little chicks should be bedded down in the chicken coop with their mother.

his is a larger format than many of the other Maisy books that appear as board books. The illustrations are nice and colorful and big, but because the pages are thinner there is a danger that the flaps will tear with rough use so be careful. If the child's coordination isn't quite
there
yet you might want to hold off buying this book or always make sure you can assist with flap opening chores.
