Maisy is going to visit her friend Ella who lives far away. This means a trip to the airport where a big jet is waiting to fly Maisy to her destination. Maisy arrives at the airport early, says good-bye to her friends and goes through the security checkpoint. Then after a wait, she goes out to the tarmac where the big, orange jet is boarding passengers. On board the plane, Maisy finds her seat, buckles her seat belt and listens to the safety instructions the flight attendant gives. Then the jet whooshes down the runway and up into the air. After the flight, the plane lands and all the passengers disembark at their destination. For Maisy it has been an exciting day and an adventure she won't soon forget, plus she'l get to do it all over again when she goes home after her visit with Ella. The perfect book for preparing a young child for his/her first airplane journey, this latest Maisy adventure will be a hit with children who are excited about anything to do with airplanes, airports and traveling.
