Ready-to-Read, Level Two
book, follows the journey of a tiny seed as it travels on the wind before it settles to earth. The seed then remains dormant until Spring time when it begins growing into a beautiful flower. The cycle continues until Autumn when, once again, seeds form and the wind takes over again to spread the seeds.
I
like this reader because it not only features Eric Carle's vibrant illustrations, which children seem to gravitate to, but it also explains the seed cycle in an understandable manner. You'll probably find that your child will enjoy this book with its challenging but manageable text so much that he/she will return to it over and over again.
