I like to sleep on my mama's lap. I like to sleep on cookies.' As your preschooler reads these lines that accompany the big illustrations in this book, he or she should respond with, 'No, silly! You eat cookies.' Each grouping of common activities found in this book will always contain one activity that doesn't fit in, which means there are plenty of opportunities to shout out, 'No, Silly!' As you read this fun participation book with your child, the youngster will be learning about different types of activities and which ones logically don't make sense. You can take a ride in an airplane or a bike, but not in your bed. Beds can't fly nor can they be peddled around the yard! Once you have read this book aloud a few times, think of other ways you can incorporate 'No, Silly!' into games or play time. I'm sure you can come up with some creative ideas!
