T
he young narrator of this humorous picture book admits that if he had a pet triceratops it would probably be a lot of work, but he's up to the challenge. He'd be more than happy to take good care of her and provide a house in the back yard for the dinosaur to stay in.
O
f course, the triceratops would have to be taken out for walks and the boy would certainly train his pet and teach her cool tricks. There would have to be baths too. You wouldn't want a dirty triceratops.
N
aturally a triceratops would protect the boy's home from intruders and she'd be there to greet the boy when he came home from school. Having a pet triceratops would be SO COOL although, as this book's illustrations show, the size of the pet would create a few
issues
!
