n this latest adventure the four bear cubs (Floppy, Fuzzy, Yellow and Calico) are determined to give Big Brown Bear a very special birthday party. First they have to whip up a birthday cake and then they have a gift to wrap.
T
he kitchen may be a mess when they finish and the cake may not be exactly perfect, but it is, of course, the thought that counts. And wrapping a blue ball does present challenges too, but eventually the gift is covered.
N
ow the waiting is over and Big Brown Bear can enter the room and the party can begin. Brown Bear loves the ball and the cake is a hit. All in all, it is a wonderful day for everyone.
T
he delightful rhymed narrative makes this a fun story to read aloud and the illustrations capture all the little bears' actions, so this fourth picture book in the bears series is sure to please preschoolers who can't get enough of these cuddly little fellows.
