hen a little girl goes looking for her spring robin she finds new flowers, bees, trees with new blossoms, and tiny insects in the dirt. There's plenty of new growth and small critters about, but no robin.

ust when it appears that perhaps the child's robin is not going to put in an appearance, she hears the bird's cheery song. Now spring is complete because the robin has returned!

f your child is ready to move from board books to regular picture books, this little half-size volume would make a nice transition. Also, who doesn't like a book about the coming of spring? It can't come any too quickly this year for those who have had months of snow and then more snow!
