You'll find everything here from short team histories, and information on the World Series, to fascinating baseball trivia and material about some of the sport's strangest superstitions. Ever wonder how many stitches are on a baseball or what the nicknames were of some of the game's most famous players? You'll find the answers to these and a host of other questions in this well illustrated book. Which team has the most former players and managers in the baseball Hall of Fame? It is the San Francisco Giants who presently have 55 players and 11 managers enshrined at Cooperstown. That is more than the Los Angeles Dodgers (54) and the New York Yankees (52).
