The friends part company for a while, but in the end, with the assistance of the tadpole who morphs into an adult frog, the contretemps is resolved. Friends sometimes have arguments, as your child will discover as he/she reads this book. They must also find a way of resolving their differences. In a very simple fashion, this cute story shows how this happens. The large illustrations and simple text make Moonbear's Pet ideal for the beginning reader. Let your child help with the read aloud chores when you enjoy this story together.
