erman the bear and Henry the raccoon are best friends. Unfortunately, Harry must move away so the two buddies promise to write to one another without fail.

ut being pen-pals is easier said than done. At first Herman is afraid Henry has made new friends and he's a little jealous. Then Henry writes saying he's worried about Herman because he hasn't received any of the bear's letters.
W
ith winter coming on and the forest post office closed down, Herman decides to try something radical to make sure his friend gets his letter. He'll deliver it himself! Well, that's going to make for an interesting journey as you'll see.

o follow the two friends' correspondence, the reader will have to flip a flap and read the letters that travel back and forth. You'll also love the humorous twist to his fanciful tale about real friendship.
