ow often have you heard these words, '
Mine! My blankie. Mine!
'?
S
mall children can become very possessive at a young age and everything is '
Mine!
' No matter the situation, whether with a sibling or a friend, if the child doesn't want to share his/her possessions there can quickly be a minor confrontation.

hat's what happens in this picture book with the little girl who sees everything around her as '
Mine!
' Fortunately, by the last page she has learned to share. I'll let you discover how this transformation takes place but you might want to consider this book as a way of changing that cry of '
Mine!
' to something less confrontational in your house.
T
he simple illustrations and text work together to get the author's point across here about the benefits of sharing. Give it a try if you need an antidote for a reluctant sharer!
