The next time Sam and Maggie meet, Sam is determined to regain his NUMBER ONE position. In fact, Sam is way out in front and about to reclaim that coveted TOP SPOT when something quite unexpected happens. 'Sam slammed on his brakes!' You may wonder now why would he do that? Well, my lips are sealed! Yes Sam came in last but it was worth it. When you read this cute picture book you'll discover that sometimes there are more important things in life than taking FIRST PLACE! And, as far as all his friends are concerned Sam is definitely NUMBER ONE! You'll love this picture book and the lesson it teaches.
