W
ork is going full speed ahead as large equipment visits this construction site. Excavators prepare the foundation followed by cement trucks that pour concrete and loader crane trucks off load building supplies.
A
s the building's shell goes up there's plenty of noise and a mobile crane is called in to lift heavy materials like windows and siding. Once the frame is completed, work on the roof and inside can begin. Plumbing and electrical work is followed by placing drywalls in place and then the structure can be painted inside and out.
N
ow that it is done, look what we have here – a brand new library!
T
he narrative might not thrill young readers but the illustrations are great so I'd suggest parents make up their own explanation of what is happening here. Parents in the construction sector will certainly wish to share this book with their children to show what Mommy or Daddy does at work!
