'I've got a big job to do – climb in, you can come too.' Frankie's got a special load to deliver and as he heads onto the road you'll accompany him on his journey. 'I have high-powered, air-pressured, compression brakes. When I slow, believe me – you'll know. Go ahead, hit the Jake Brake. EEEEERRRRRRRRRR ... DAA-DAA-DAA-DA-DA. Well done!' Even when barreling down the highway complications can occur. 'BANG POP. Oh no! A blowout! Back off the hammer! Hit the Brake! Use the Jake!' Now we'll have to sit by the side of the road until a service truck arrives to fix the flat. Once the tire is replaced it's back to driving so that the delivery can arrive on time. Cool truck illustrations plus a little trucker's vocabulary are combined in this highway adventure that your little trucker will love reading. There are plenty of special sound effects that he or she can add along the way, so hit the road and keep on truckin'!
