The accordion style little book folds out and features a pop-up illustration of each attraction plus some information about it. The dozen double page spreads include the Christ the Redeemer statue, the Maracana Stadium, Copacabana Beach, Sao Bento Monastery and the Niteroi Contemporary Art Museum, plus a map of where everything is located. This handy book, which comes in a slipcase, would also be ideal for classroom use because it will provide a lovely presentation of what some of the attractions of this city are. I'd use it to kick off a unit on Brazil or major South American cities.
