he search for the missing dragon is portrayed with a number of elaborate cityscapes. The art is done pen and ink with only the objects you are counting colored in. You discover three purple city buses, five brown water towers atop buildings, eight red fire hydrants, and so on.

sually a counting book is rather simple, but Steve Light takes his book to the next level with wonderfully detailed illustrations that capture life in a busy city. This is a book that not only children but also adults will enjoy. There's even a map that indicates where the various locations pictured in the book are, and suggests you are traveling through Manhattan.
