There's plenty of action as the ball is kicked back and forth. The blue team scores the first goal, but thanks to Cyril, Maisy's red team ties the score. If you have a three or four year old who might like to play soccer, this simple picture book will help explain the basics of the game. Read it a few times aloud and then take a ball outside and kick it around a bit. Children love Maisy and this first experiences series has helped prepare youngsters for everything from going to the library and learning to swim, to a sleepover and attending preschool.
