Y
ou guessed it! Mr. Gum and his trusty sidekick Billy William the third. From their secret hideout the two evildoers are burning meat and entrails to pollute Lamonic Bibber. They must be stopped and Polly and Friday O'Leary are just the pair to get the job done.
T
ogether Polly and Friday create the Department of Clouds and Yogurts to find Mr. Gum and stop his polluting ways. But that won't be easy and they'll need all the help they can get. Even gingerbread man Alan Taylor comes out of hibernation to help Polly and Friday.
W
hat will become of Lamonic Bibber, Polly, and her friends? Pick up a copy of this funny novel for readers ages seven to ten to find out. Although this installment of Mr. Gum is hilarious and I laughed my way through the pages, my adult sensibilities were rather grossed out by the entrails used to pollute the town. Therefore I do not recommend reading this book during lunch.
