FETCH! With Ruff Ruffman
comes a fun book,
Doggie Duties
. Ruff wins a major award (no, not a leg shaped lamp), the Golden Blobby. He displays his big, heavy award in the bathroom ... on the toilet. But the award breaks the toilet and now poor Ruff has a problem.
U
h oh! Ruff has got to go and is unwilling to compromise his dignity and use Blossom's litterbox. If only NASA made unbreakable toilets. A quick search on her computer and Blossom shows Ruff that NASA does indeed make specialized toilets ... for astronauts.
T
he vacuum toilet that NASA astronauts use is just what Ruff needs. But the shuttle with the space toilet just took off! In his desparate search for a bathroom, Ruff sticks his head in little mouse Chet's mouse hole ... and gets stuck. It looks like Ruff may need Blossom's litterbox after all.
Y
oung readers will enjoy the funny story and adorable characters, as well as the bright, lively illustrations that adorn each page. Even parents may learn a thing or two, such as how to make a water filter and that, on the International Space Station urine is filtered into drinking water that is cleaner than bottled water. There's even a fun science activity included for parents and children to do.
