ow often have you heard your child or grandchild tell you he or she wasn't interested in the stories on the bookshelf because they were BORING? That's the dilemma facing the father here when he selects a book for a bedtime story.

o what does this perplexed dad do? Why he invents a story! There's no logic to the tale but, no matter, there's plenty of action and crazy characters. Flying
seat-of-the-pants
this father introduces his son and daughter to a pretty little princess who drives a monster truck that also flies because it is covered in magic fairy dust.
O
f course there has to be a villain so the princess encounters the evil Space Aliens of Doom along with their leader, Zorgon the Fire-Burper. Fortunately, with the help of an enchanted unicorn who rides in her truck's bed and some orphan kittens, the brave princess is able to defeat the dastardly Zorgon.
W
hen the moment of truth arrives the fearless princess uses a '
surprise black-belt ballet-slipper spinning-thermonucleat side rumple-dumple kick (that she learned from her mentor, Cuddles the Ninja Puppy)
' to thwart the forces of evil. Hooray!

ow wasn't that the best bedtime story ever?
