his essentially is a picture book featuring large, color photos of children around the world enjoying music. You'll find a little Indian girl clapping her hands, a young member of a Coptic choir singing, a Chinese girl strumming a large yueqin (moon lute), and a wee Scottish lad playing a junior size bagpipe.

hether they are playing an instrument or singing, these children are all having a good time making music. That's the message these photos convey. Music is fun!

or parents and elementary school teachers who wish to interest their children in becoming involved in some form of music making, this book could act as a catalyst and be used to initiate a discussion on why music is important.

ou'll find instructions for making a few simple instruments at the back of the book and a musical glossary as well. If your young child loves looking at pictures of other children, this book will probably be a hit in your household.
