She dedicates her ABC book 'For anyone who went out and explored while everyone else was bored'. Delightful critters are busy with diverse activities from January ('we clean the attic and try on old clothes') to December (when 'our yard is an ice-skating rink' and '[iR:We stay awake just till New Year, then fall asleep in a wink! zzzzzz'. I rather like June when 'all our kites get knotted or break ... So we leave them behind to go jump in the lake!'. In addition to reinforcing their ABC's and what's ahead as the seasons of the year unfold, the book is filled with attractive illustrations with lots of intriguing detail for young readers to discover.
