here's also information about polar bear cubs, what the large creatures consume, and how they have related to some of their human neighbors, like members of the Inuit people. Of course, since global warming has created serious problems for these magnificent animals the author briefly addresses this situation as well.

his sturdy guide features some transparent pages that show different aspects of the bear and its life plus a spiral binding so the pages will lay flat when open. Young children are curious about all sorts of animals and this book would be a very good introduction to the polar bear.
