My name is Katy and this picture book is all about the day my daddy took me along with him to work. We took the bus to my daddy's office and when we got there I looked around. I visited the water cooler for a drink and pushed the buttons on the elevator. What fun! Working at an office is fun but it isn't as much fun as dancing. But when I decided to practice my dance routines there was a little mishap. I knocked over a big stack of papers and they flew all over the floor. Oh dear, that wasn't a good thing. I helped my daddy clean up the mess and he made me promise to be more careful. Then it was time for lunch. We had ice cream for lunch. Now, that was really cool! 'Tra-la-la. Quack! Quack!' I told my daddy I just loved going to work with him. He just looked at me kind of funny and smiled. If you are just beginning to learn to read I think you'll like this Level One, Ready-to-Read book. It has nice big print and short sentences. And best of all, you'll find pictures of me on every page. 'Tra-la-la!'
