These pants pirates are easily identified because they wear their colorful underwear on the outside of their regular pantaloons. They know they are nearing their destination, Big Knickers Bay, because they have sighted sharks wearing spiffy undies. Whoa there, what's this? Footsteps in the sand? 'Yikes, me hearties, what is this? Someone's been 'ere before!' exclaims the captain. Now it will be a quick trip to the interior of the island, across Three Pants Ridge and over Long-John Bridge to the cave where the statue is hidden. Alas, it is gone! But what's this? There's another crew of fancy underpants clad buccaneers asleep with the trophy in their midst. Now the captain will hatch a nefarious plan to snatch the treasure and flee to safety. Of course, my lips are sealed so you'll have to read this picture book to see what the pants pirates devise to foil their adversaries. Suffice it to say the sleeping pirates will soon discover they have left more than their guard down!! Part of the Underpants series of picture books for children three years of age and up, this latest installment is as much fun as the earlier volumes. Your child will be laughing from cover to cover when you read this underpants adventure together.
