hat's nice about this rhyming, absolutely awesome alliterative alphabet picture book is that it combines both words and a number of small illustrations.
T
he key words arranged in sentences are greatly increased in size so they pop out at the reader. The small illustrations, which usually number in the high teens, are then arranged around the sentences.
A
s you enjoy this book with your child (age two and older), expand the experience by asking what other words or items begin with a given letter. You might even start your own alphabet booklet by cutting out magazine pictures and adding words for each letter.

he pages here can be a little
busy
but that's OK for, with an older child, this becomes a participation situation as he or she tries to name all the items pictured on each page.
A
lso, if you look closely at the sentences some of them offer an inspirational thought (or not!) '
W for WISDOM both spoken and written. X marks the spot where the treasure is hidden.
