All the stories feature Grover along with other characters from the Seasame Street gang. Super Grover to the Rescue finds Elmo having a problem getting his red wagon filled with groceries down a set of stairs. But Super Grover comes to help him. After trying a balloon and kite to lift the heavy wagon and finding out that plan just isn't going to work, Super Grover goes and gets a big, flat board which creates a ramp the wagon can glide down. Good work, Super Grover! In Super Grover and the Rock, a very large boulder is taking up too much space in Grover's garden. After trying various ways to move the rock, Super Grover comes up with a clever technique for rolling the rock over to Bert's side of the plot. Nice going, Super Grover! Super Grover's Basket and Super Grover and the Bike find Super Grover moving supplies up into his treehouse with Cookie Monster's assistance, and helping Abby fix her broken bike. Just right for a young child, this book uses some favorite characters to engage the youngster and make him or her want to work on practicing basic reading skills.
