You'll not only see different types of weapons and siege engines but also watch as a castle is attacked and defended. The book features a set of transparent pages that show in great detail life in a medieval castle. If you are looking for a way to introduce a unit on medieval life this is an excellent book to engage the youngster and get him/her interested in the subject. Hint: If you want to lighten up the dark pages quickly and don't want to use the provided torch, just slip a piece of white paper behind the page and the illustration will be visible.
