elying on her own relationship with her son, singer-songwriter Jewel has created a picture book that centers on a soothing lullaby. Mother and child take a dream journey through the dark night sky and catch shimmering stars in a silver net.
A
lthough the sentiments expressed here are somewhat inane, the illustrations are quite pleasant and there is an accompanying sound track of Jewel doing what she does best – singing. The CD runs about four minutes and playing it while looking at the book's illustrations probably makes more sense than trying to read the lyrics without musical accompaniment.

nfortunately, whenever famous people lend their names to picture books the end product is usually mediocre at best. And, if there is a CD included in the package, that's probably the selling point. That's pretty much the case here. Nice pictures, nice music and a totally lackluster text!
