his two book set of board books features the indigenous art of Australian Bronwyn Bancroft whose work is on display in museums and galleries in her native land and elsewhere.

introduces youngsters to native creatures like the bandicoot, dingo, echidna, wombat and kangaroo plus a whole slew of more common critters like a frog, turtle, owl, and snake.

does the same but also matches the animals with verbs such as diving, leaping, laughing and gliding. The reader is invited to count '

aturally, all the illustrations are done in the detailed, colored designs that make Bancroft's indigenous art so distinctive and appealing. What a fun way to combine learning to identify some exotic animals with letter and number practice.
