n this charming picture book, small '
Noni is nervous about a lot of things
', from playdates to global warming and now, her first day of school. She bites her nails, twirls her hair and talks nonstop, while her parents and little brother try to get her to desist from all these agitated activities.
N
oni anticipates everything that might go wrong at school and continues to be nervous all through her first day. That night her parents and brother try to reassure her. And, of course, as all of us who've survived that first day know, the next day is better.
N
ow guess who is nervous when Noni gets home that night? The ending is sweet and funny, and anyone who's nervous about starting school will enjoy Noni's story and, perhaps, feel a little less nervous themselves about what's ahead.
