When Katy Duck hears that her Aunt Ella is getting married, she is delighted to learn that she has been asked to be the flower girl at the ceremony. Unfortunately, Katy doesn't really understand what a flower girl is expected to do.

Poor Katy thinks her job will be to dance and sway like a flower, so she practices swaying in the breeze like a daffodil and stretching toward the sun like a tulip. On the day of the wedding the flower girl discovers her job is to toss flowers as the bride walks down the church aisle.

What about all that practice that went into refining her flower technique? Will Katy have to change the game plan and just demurely spread a few flower petals?

You have to read this cute story to see how Katy Duck handles the situation. But rest assured that with her signature 'Tra-la-la. Quack! Quack', this little flower girl is going to steal the show!

Beginning readers will have no problem getting into this level one ready-to-read book and, in no time at all, they will be sharing this story aloud with other family members.
