When Twilight receives an invitation to the famous Aquastria Race she invites some of her pony friends to accompany her on her underwater journey. The ponies are welcomed by King Leo, the ruler of the kingdom, and his cousin, Princess Celestia. In Nautilus Hall, Twilight learns of the rivalry between the seaponies and the mermares who compete for the cherished Purple Pearl. The excitement revs up when Sparkle, her friend Spike, and the rest of the ponies get drawn into the exciting but dangerous competition. The race outcome is a big surprise but it will delight youngsters four years of age and older who read this story. The accompanying illustrations are bright and bold plus there's an added bonus; you'll find a pull-out poster at the back of the book. Children who collect the My Little Pony series will find this book a welcome addition to their home libraries.
