The back door goes 'Squeeeak!' and big trucks on the road nearby 'Rrrrumble' down the highway while motorcycles go 'Mmmrmrmrmrrr' past them. The clock by your bed goes 'Tlick-tlock, tlick-tlock' and as you butter your toast there's a 'Chrrick, chrrick, chrrick' sound. There are lots of wonderful sounds which capture the exuberance of life and make their own special music. This big, boldly illustrated, rhymed picture book for children four and older captures this medley of sound that is unique and typifies the rhythms of life. Your child will have fun reproducing each of these wonderful sounds that are identified with various objects, from a hulking steam engine, buzzing fly, and ambulance rushing down the street to a dripping faucet and a marching band.
