Not only will they have to leave the coastal village in Nova Scotia where the girl has grown up, but they will also be leaving her mother's grave behind.

enowned for the wild horses who live on the windblown, crescent shaped island, Sable Island isn't a happy place for Ellie until she discovers a wild stallion which she names Orchid.

hen the lonely girl discovers that Orchid and his family are threatened, she realizes she is the only one to save them. Having already lost too much in her young life, Ellie has no intention of letting this beautiful chocolate-colored horse slip away from her.
