oungsters nine years of age and older will find this a fascinating read. Jerome Pohlen not only chronicles Albert Einstein's life but he also discusses the famous scientist's discoveries. The book is filled with page upon page of historical photographs that accompany the text. There are also entertaining anecdotes and 21 activities and thought experiments that allow the reader to test some of Einstein's theories.

hese hands-on activities include calculating the speed of light with a melted chocolate bar, creating a nuclear chain reaction with dominoes, replicating a solar eclipse, and utilizing a marshmallow Peep to create a demonstration of the expanding universe.
