h dear, what have Brownie and her cat Pearl done? It looks like someone knocked over a radio while running in the house and it is really broken. '
Uh-oh. Someone is not happy! Brownie and Pearl have to make good.

om hands Brownie a dustpan and broom and points to the kitchen. The pair has to tidy up the room and sweep the floor. Next, they have to do the same for the playroom. Are they finished yet? Nope!

ow it is time to tidy Pearl's kitty bed, although it is pretty neat. Unfortunately, they can't
tidy
the radio because it is beyond repair and is gone. What do Brownie and Pearl do now? Brownie takes the broom, pretends it is a guitar and she sings.

hat makes Mom smile and now all is forgiven. Brownie and Pearl made good, but they better not run around in the house any more either!

rian Bigg's cute illustrations have made this series popular with youngsters three years of age and up. Besides being a fun, read aloud book, this is also one that children just learning to read can handle easily.
