A tour around the barnyard shows a Mother Hen giving her little chick a peck, a calf getting a tongue licking from its mother, and Mama Goat planting a wet one on her kid. Other featured animals include doves, pigs, sheep, cats, dogs, ducks, rabbits, mice, and birds. Finally we go indoors and see a child receiving a goodnight kiss from his mother. Large illustrations of the animal pairs make them jump right off the page, making this heartfelt homage to various kinds of kisses a book that youngsters will enjoy sharing with their families. This will quickly become a bedtime favorite and a book you'll love reading aloud.
