erewolf Kitty Norville hosts the late night radio program, the
Midnight Hour
. She has been asked to be keynote speaker at the
First International Conference on Paranatural Studies
in London, England, attended by scientists and supernaturals - as well as activists and protesters - from all over the world. She and her friends will be at the center of it all. Kitty, Ben and Cormac will be staying at their friend's manor; he just happens to be the Master Vampire of London.
K
itty finds out that Master Vampires from many cities are having a conference of their own at the same time, and she will have a front row seat. Kitty will need help soon because there seems to be a power struggle going on amongst vampires, a
Long Game
that has been running for centuries. In her quest for peace, Kitty will hook up with Caleb, alpha male of Britain's werewolves, and of course there will be some bitter enemies from the past who will stand in her way.
T
his is the first I've read of Carrie Vaughn's novels, but let me say that the action flowing through the pages keeps you on the edge of your seat. The dialogue is fun and racy, filled with rather twisted humor. All in all,
Kitty Steals the Show
is an adventure that will keep you turning the pages, hoping the ride will never end.
