ooh begins with a story called
The Land of Honey
, but does that get Roo in the mood for bed? '
Nope!
' says Roo. '
But your story made me awfully hungry, Pooh Bear.

N
ext, Piglet tries with a scary story called
Sniglet the Brave
. Still, Roo's not ready to pull up the cover and turn off the lights. '

The Big Race
, but not even this exciting tale does the trick.
E
eyore and Rabbit both try unsuccessfully to get Roo to fall asleep with their stories before Owl finally gives it a try. The long winded bird goes on, and on, and on, and before you know it, Roo is asleep as are all the other animals who stayed around to listen!

his padded board book is filled with colorful illustrations and each of the stories is only a page or so in length. You'll probably have to read the whole book, which isn't that long, to get your
little Roo
to fall asleep, but if you are lucky, it may take only a couple of the animals' tales. Either way, this is a fun book that children three and older will enjoy reading at bedtime.
