T
his boxed set contains five picture word books to assist in developing a very young child's vocabulary. Each of the books centers on a subject that most toddlers will be fairly familiar with.
E
ach book contains seven pages that feature a central illustration and then a single word beneath it. For example, the
Zoo Animals
book features a lion, panda, giraffe, elephant, toucan, monkey and zebra.
T
he other book selections include colors, farm animals, things that go, and clothes.
O
ffering a nice selection of basic words, this first word library board book collection is appropriate for children nine months of age and up. The only problem here is getting the little books back into the thin slots where they are stored in the larger book that houses all five selections. That will be a task for mom or dad!
