his board book underscores the importance of friendship and helping one in need. Poor Bear is all alone in his cave and he is feeling a bit under the weather.

He sniffs and he sneezes. He whiffs and he wheezes. And the bear feels sick.

hen his friends come over and want him to come out and play, Bear shakes his head and says, '
I'm too sick today.
'
D
o his friends go home and leave poor Bear alone? Of course not! '
Badger fetches water. Gopher cooks the broth while Mole soothes Bear with a cool, wet cloth ... The friends fuss and fret. The friends cook and care. They keep a close eye on their poor sick Bear.

fter a good rest Bear feels much better but, alas, now his friends have the germ that made Bear feel so bad. Bear knows what he has to do now. He tells all his friends, '
You'll soon feel like new. You took care of me ... now I'll take care of you.
'

his wonderful picture book would make the perfect gift for any child who is ill. After having this read aloud to him or her a few times, any youngster can't help but feel better!
