Here's a green manual that offers a hands-on approach for kids to make this a more eco-friendly planet to live on. For example, if you remember to turn off the light when you leave a room, you will be saving electricity.

Likewise, turning off the tap when you brush your teeth will mean that you are saving water. If you always throw your trash away you'll be keeping it off the ground and piling up where it shouldn't be. Obviously, that is a very good thing!

Other suggestions for creating a better environment include not wasting paper by using both sides, unplugging the TV when it is not in use, and walking more rather than riding short distances in the car.

These are simple things, but if you follow the author's suggestions this will be a much better place to grow up in.

The die-cut pages with special flip-over elements encourage the young reader three years of age and older to pitch in and help the planet stay green. This simple book is ideal for read aloud sessions and will appeal to beginning readers as well.
