No matter the season there's always something to see or do outdoors that allows you to interact with nature. In the spring you can visit a pond to view new life emerging with little tadpoles darting about. Or you can enjoy the cherry blossoms or other signs of life sprouting in gardens or flower beds in parks. Summer is a time when bees collect nectar from flowers to make honey, and for moths to flutter around light bulbs at night. Of course, vegetable gardens are also coming into full production. Each season features its own wonders and offers numerous things to enjoy. There are trips to the beach, bird life to watch, and in the fall, crops must be harvested. And, when winter arrives, it is fun to find animal tracks in the snow and try to figure out which creature made them. A marvelous blend of verse, outstanding art work and ideas on how to enjoy each season, this is a book the entire family will find interesting.
