At the back of the book you'll find an action plan to help clean up the planet and ideas on how to save energy and recycle. There's also a Your Earth-Smart Dictionary that includes key words like ozone, deforestation, carbon footprint, biodegradable, and greenhouse effect. The author, Yollanda Komdonassis, is a professional harpist who has sold over 100,000 albums worldwide. She is the founder and director of Earth at Heart, a non-profit devoted to increasing earth awareness through the arts. She was inspired to write this book to help her seven year old daughter understand the importance of caring for our planet.
