picture book. It is raining outside and the little girl featured here is bored. As she rummages through her room looking for something to do, she draws a complete blank.
W
hile some toys are '
too jolly, too jumpy
' or '
too diggy, too dumpy
', others are '
too bangy
' and '
too plinky
'. The list gets longer and longer as everything the child finds is either too '
piecy, blinky, goopy or gluey
' or, in other instances, too '
mooey, fuzzy,crawly or creepy
'.

P
reschoolers three and older probably will want to shout out the key adverbs once they've read this picture book a few times. They'll have a boisterous time reciting these marvelously descriptive words.
