It's springtime! It's almost Easter! The sun is shining. The air is warm. New leaves grow on the trees and flowers rise from the soil.

his is the opening for this evocative picture book that captures the beginning of spring and the highlights of Easter. As you move into the book you'll find baby animals welcoming the new season and children decorating eggs and drawing Easter Bunny pictures.
O
f course, hidden away in the woods, the Easter Bunny himself is making his preparations also. There are eggs to be colored and then placed in his large bag so they can be delivered.
F
inally we see youngsters squealing with delight as they find the surprises left for them by their favorite bunny. Then everyone slips into his or her best spring clothing while the tired bunny hops home for a well deserved rest.
E
xcellent illustrations coupled with a pleasant text makes this an Easter book that children three and older will want to read over and over again. The narrative is easy enough that beginning readers should be able to share the reading aloud chores as well.
