, Ernie finds a variety of tracks on the soft ground. Look closely at the illustrations and you'll be able to figure out what type of critter made each set. The tracks get bigger and bigger until finally Ernie finds footprints left by his buddy Bert.

, the pair encounter some wet weather that means the trail gets muddy and then slippery. When they reach a hill, the two friends slide down to the bottom.

ert and Ernie at the Pond
focuses on how Ernie places different items in the water to see how well they float. Everything he tries works pretty well except a bunch of grapes. '
