his is the story of three beavers, Beatrix, Beverly and Bevan, and how one day the trio end up trapped in metal cages. It all begins because Beatrix decides to go exploring and ends up close to the
Beaver Inn
. Not realizing she has invaded the home turf of humans, Beatrix begins nibbling the tasty aspens she sees near the inn.

Whap!
' Without any warning the little beaver is ensnared in a trap. When her siblings come looking for her they encounter a similar fate. All three are now in cages and stay there until the owners of the inn find them.

ow it is time to work out a compromise. Rather than relocate the beavers to a different area, the owners decide to try something else so that their guests can enjoy watching the beavers while they stay at the inn.
