With his yellow hard hat firmly in place, Bizzy Bear lends a hand by pushing sand with a bulldozer, driving the dump truck, and lifting a heavy load of wood with a fork lift. Along with all his friends, it won't take Bizzy Bear long to finish the job and a new house will soon be sitting on what was once an empty lot. This very sturdy board book with super thick pages has pull outs and rings to move the pieces of equipment Bizzy Bear uses. Although I haven't seen the ring approach before, it is ideal for this type of book. When you see a small, blue ring, stick a finger into the hole and slide it in the direction indicated by the red arrow. The moving piece of the equipment (the box of the dump truck or the load balanced on the fork lift) will then move up or down. This paper technology allows the pieces to move quite easily, which is perfect for small fingers. Another big plus is that these pages and moving pieces will stand up under continual use and take a beating over time! I haven't seen a board book quite this wear resistant in a long time!
